We have a selection of storage boxes that originally housed archived costumes from touring musicians and theatre groups collected by the British Theatre Museum. The collection was ultimately absorbed by the V & A, leaving these storage boxes surplus to requirement.

They are made from vulcanised fibre, a method of lamination that’s reinforced by cellulose instead of plastic. It’s lighter than aluminium, tougher than leather, and stiffer than most thermoplastics, as well as being biodegradable… what’s not to love?
