A heartfelt thank you to ADGermany for recognising us among such an inspiring group of designers. It’s a profound honour to champion the corner of the design world that celebrates re-use, breathing new life into old materials to craft interiors imbued with stories and soul.

As we mark 3 decades since RETROUVIUS’ humble beginnings — pulling discarded materials from skips on the streets of Glasgow— it’s with huge pride that we ponder how many timbers, fixtures, fireplaces, doors, slabs of stone and ‘redundant’ furnishings have found second lives in glorious spaces instead of languishing in landfill.

Here’s to many more years of salvage!
