This type of Turkish warpface flatweave is made of three contingent parts of approx 60cm taken from a long warpface strip which has been cut and then joined to form a squarish proportion to use usefully. Domestic home weavers at home or in outdoor fields lack wide looms so therefore long strips are woven and then refashioned. The material used is of almost entirely natural pigmented wool as taken from the sheep's back in the varying colours of the herd thus sparing precious white wool in a imaginative dynamic fashion .
